Initial ideas for blogging
The immediate idea that comes to mind for blogs in my English class would be to use them for responses to novels we are reading. I also see it as a way to link to webquests or research sites. Some of the technology that came with our new materials might be able to be incorporated as well.

Hi,
I currently teach 8th grade English and Accelerated English. I have taught a total of 22 years. I started at Whitehall Middle School as a SpEd English teacher for grades 5-8, and I team taught 7th grade English.
At Sturgis, I have been at the Middle School for 7 years; before that I was at the High School as a SpEd teacher for 8 years. My first year here I taught 5th grade SpEd English at what was known as Vinewood Elementary. My classroom was what is now one of the High School English offices!
